Massive Attack announce their first headline tour in over five years

Massive Attack have announce details of an extensive European tour, stopping in the UK during January and February 2016.

The Bristolian trip hop duo will bring Young Fathers out on the road with them, with 10 UK shows planned including two nights at O2 Academy Brixton.

This will be Massive Attack's first headline tour in over five years, following the release of 2010's Heligoland; their fifth album which they haven't done a headline tour for since.

Iggy Pop, Henry Rollins, Lemmy, Josh Homme, Jesse Hughes, Graces Jones, Justice, Mark Lanegan, Volbeat and Tom Araya are already part of the cast, joining the new project by Belgian-Swedish visual artist, Bjorn Tagemose.

Gutterdämmerung will see metal and rock music soundtrack a chilling 'silent movie' starring Iggy Pop in the main role.

David Beckham announced Match For Children in aid of UNICEF

David Beckham will captain a Great Britain and Ireland all-star line-up to play against a Rest of the World team led by Zinedine Zidane in a match at Old Trafford on Saturday 14 November.

The event is to help raise awareness and funds for UNICEF, the world’s leading children’s organisation.

Sir Alex Ferguson and Carlo Ancelotti will manage the teams respectively.

“I want a world where children can grow up safe from violence, free from poverty and protected from preventable diseases," David said, looking ahead to his latest activity with UNICEF.
