A word about careers from the people that live them

Every day presents a new challenge, one moment I’m booking Artists and preparing show budgets for large stadium events and festivals, talking specifications for stages, planning marketing campaigns and then meeting with the First Minister all in the space of an hour! I'm dedicated to bringing the very best live music and events to Scotland.

A word about careers from the people that live them

I genuinely believe that whilst it can be incredibly hard work, a career in this industry is one of the most rewarding and enjoyable jobs on earth. The team at DF Concerts are some of the most inspirational people I have ever met – and the artists we work with are pretty phenomenal too! Being part of a company who continue to push the boundaries of live entertainment and create amazing memories for music fans is a very inspiring process and I’m proud to be part of it.

A word about careers from the people that live them

No two days are ever the same! It’s always a challenge but at the end of it there is a great gig which makes it all worthwhile. You get to meet some truly talented people. It’s really satisfying working with an artist who initially is worth just 50 people in a bar and ends up selling out an arena. Whilst it’s not all down to what I do, it’s great being part of the success.

A word about careers from the people that live them

The best part of my role is meeting artists and building a relationship with them. I get to see them grow from playing a small venue to going on to play larger venues, or even headline festivals. I’ve worked with the likes of The Killers, Biffy Clyro, Kasabian, Manic Street Preachers and Paolo Nutini from their very first Scottish shows, to years later playing in front of thousands of people.
