A word about careers from the people that live them

I have a great team working on major event programmes across the UK and Europe. Working in live music can be pressurised, it’s a deadline-driven environment and everyone has to work collaboratively in order for things to run. One of the most important things I’ve learned is that we need to do things regularly that scare you because although sometimes we may fail, we also succeed and when we do, we achieve great rewards.

A word about careers from the people that live them

It's a fast paced environment and you never know what's coming - when a huge tour is announced, it's all systems go! Ticketing is such a diverse business, when you can be preparing for a major arena tour going 'on sale' one day and working onsite at a festival the next. It's great to work onsite at the festivals you've managed from day one - when you see thousands of people at the event having a good time, it's really rewarding to know you've played a part in that.
